The
London Transport Museum has launched its brand new range of furniture and accessories for the home, all featuring designs that were used on public transport in the 1930s and 1970s.
The ‘Moquettes’, are made to order for anything from bed headboards to dining chairs, cube stools and even sofas. The collection has four themes: Living, Dining, Sleeping and Working and are available online with a choice of nine unique designs that will make a statement to any room.
These designs gave our buses and trains their unique identity and became popular because of their hard wearing, durable and flame resistant fabric, as well as being easy on the eye; meaning they will last a long time in your home.
