Fabulous films

Awards season was in full flight recently and along with the great and the good of the television and film world were a host of London Film School graduates. Arash Ashianti’s graduation film Only Sound Remains was nominated for a 2012 BAFTA Short Film Award while three graduates were selected to represent their countries for Academy Award selection - Oliver Hermanus (Beauty for South Africa), Ann Hui (A Simple Life for Hong Kong) and Leticia Tonos (Love Child for Dominican Republic). Rahul Gandotra’s graduation film The Road Home was also shortlisted for a 2012 Academy Award nomination. Well done to all involved for such outstanding achievements.
