Open Day at The Connection at St Martin’s

On Wednesday 7 December from 13.00 to 18.00 the UK’s busiest homeless centre, The Connection at St Martin’s, will be throwing its doors open to the public. There will be informative exhibitions on homelessness, including one on why people become homeless, an A-Z of homelessness, and artwork by homeless people. Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet the artists themselves. There will be delicious festive treats, hot drinks and refreshments on sale and visitors will have the chance to decorate their own bauble for the Christmas tree. There will also be a Christmas shop and Streetwise Opera will be providing the musical entertainment on the day. Make sure to pencil it in your diary.
