The children of The Gardening Club members of the Peabody flats in Wild Street have made a model of the flats through the decades with each room decorated accordingly. This room shows the 1950s when residents were celebrating the Queen's coronation with street parties, as they will once again to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. It's a double celebration because Peabody are celebrating their 150th anniversary. George Peabody was a philanthropist who pioneered social housing when he set up the trust in 1862.
