Johnnie Drinkwater
A familiar face in Covent Garden, it was sad to hear that Johnnie Drinkwater passed away on 31 May aged 86. Johnnie was a service veteran who, before retirement, had a stall on Jubilee Hall’s Monday antiques market where he traded in artisan hand-tools. (The market tradition is clearly in the Drinkwater blood as daughter Sue now runs the tea shop in the Jubilee.) Our thoughts are with Johnnie’s widow Eileen and daughters Sue and Angela at this sad time.
