Hallgarten Druitt supplied the wine for the drinks and canapés reception immediately following the Way Forward for Covent Garden event, which took place at the Freemasons’ Hall on 14th October 2008.Over 320 delegates were treated to delicious glasses of Torrontés and Malbec wine from the Michel Torino Coleccion. Michel Torino’s wine is particularly esteemed for a purity of fruit and is recognised throughout the international market as a result of excellent quality, elegant label design and premium presentation. Coleccion Michel Torino Torrontés is a delicate yellow colour with aromas of tropical fruits with slight floral hints. Carefully balanced between fruitiness and acidity, this wine is very fresh and has a crisp finish to suit any sophisticated palate. For those prefering a glass of red wine, the Michel Torino Coleccion Malbec was a pleasing addition to our reception. Holding an intense ruby colour with violet hues, this wine has both generously spicy and fruity flavours with well-integrated soft tannins to compliment the overall finish.
By specialising in supplying wines to restaurant, hotel, bar and retail industries, Hallgarten Druitt boasts an impressive portfolio of around 850 wines from more than 100 exclusive suppliers, including world famous names such as Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi, Hamilton Russell, Saint Clair and Parducci. In only the space of six years, Hallgarten Druitt has twice been awarded prestigious trophies to mark the esteemed quality of its portfolio. We were very pleased to have Hallgarten Druitt supplying the wine for this annual business event and many In and Around Covent Garden members delighted in sampling the Michel Torino Coleccion.
